Biggest loser- Milwaukee style

Today while I was getting ready to leave the gym I noticed there was a family there together. I thought that was such a good thing to see. The two kids clearly were overweight and the mom was overweight in the way most 40-something year old women are. Anyways, I thought it was really cool to see the mom there with the two kids. We all make such a big deal about how kids are so fat and lazy these days, but very few parents, in my limited opinion, set much of an example for their children. Why should some fat kid believe you when you tell him that he needs to get off the couch, stop playing video games and get outside and move. As a society in general we do a lot of loafing, so why I ask are we so surprised that our children are so fat? This woman at the gym today realized that she needed to get moving too and is setting an amazing example for her children. Maybe it won't last, but they at least all tried it together. I'd like to assume that means they are all probably eating healthier too as a family.
