Ten years in the making

For approximately the last 1o years I have wanted to go to Germany. I was close to going when I was 15, but someone backed out of the trip and it was cancled. Now, nearly 10 years later I have let him know I've dropped the grudge because this Madchen (girl) is headed to Germany in two days! I'll be gone for 10 days all together, with the first part of the trip in Belgium and the remainder in Germany. Since I am going for work, most of my time will be spent touring manufacturing facilities and learning about European wood manufacturing. However, they do have a few fun days planned for us. A night at Oktoberfest will round out the trip.

Ich spreche nicht gut Deutsch, aber ich bin sehr aufgeregt!! (I don't speak German well, but I am very excited!)
