You look like a monkey, and you smell like one too

After five years of having to fess up to Uncle Jerry that I still have not been to the Milwaukee County Zoo, I finally made it there. I was a bit skeptical of the quality, having grown up just miles from one of the finest zoos in the country, but I went in with an open mind. The zoo is a very nice area to walk around, but as far as quality goes Brookfield is far superior. There really were not very many animals out, which was a little disappointing. It was a beautiful day for it though. It was only about 70 today -- perfect zoo weather.

There were a lot of peacocks though. Like this one.

There was also a baby peacock. (It kind of blends into the background, sorry.)

Well, that's about it for my adventure to the zoo. Oh, I also had the worst Chicago style hot dog of my life.

Last Friday I spent my free afternoon walking around near the lake front. This is the Milwaukee Art Museum. My batteries died almost immediately, so I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked.
